been working on the beginnings of another starbee long fic and i'm soooo excited ehehehe it's gonna be horrible for them and wonderful for me :]] working with skybound for this bad boy and it's gonna be AWFUL /pos
issue is i've yet to find a good stopping point for the first chapter so i'm just continuing on and i might end up with an unusually long first chapter when i'm done T^T it's ok!! it's fine!!

It’s in the dark after the sun had long since set and the Earth’s moon had hidden itself from view when Starscream sees something. A something that shouldn't be there, shouldn't be standing before him at all, but is so jarringly yellow against the dark of the night Starscream could do nothing but accept the sight as truth. He wants to immediately blame it on dangerously low fuel and the strain on his systems post-battle, but something feels false about that, so he doesn’t. Instead, he accepts the sight before him as absolute truth— because what else could he do?
Bumblebee, the little Autobot that Starscream had so gleefully killed earlier, stood in the distance, watching Starscream but not making a move to attack. His plating was clean and unmarred, no evidence of what Starscream had just done to him remained as he stood very still, watching Starscream. It was left up to Starscream to curl his dermas into a snarl and fire his nullray at the center of Bumblebee’s chassis. True to his aim, the shot hit its mark but there was no damage created, no fresh carnage or even a whimper of pain as Bumblebee’s spark chamber was hit with a powerful blast— just a scorch mark on the ground directly behind him.
