⏪ for Mewa?

“Mew-A, hit it harder!” The scientist’s pen made disappointed scratches as she recorded the test results. “Mew-L just came out of incubation and it’s stronger than you are! It’s a simple Psybeam attack!”

“I’m trying!” Mew-A gave an exhausted whine as she prepared a ball of wavering psychic energy in her paws. The bright red target on the wall momentarily split into three as her levitation faltered. With one last burst of energy, she flung a sphere of purple energy before collapsing on the ground.

“Why do you struggle to do simple moves correctly?” The scientist scoffed at the readings from the instruments built into the target and scowled as he copied them into the papers on his clipboard. “Mew-A, return to your cell.”

Mew-A managed to stand and obediently walked back to her cell on trembling limbs, escorted the few feet by the annoyed scientist. The door closed and locked behind her, plunging her into a familiar darkness.

The mew clone quickly fell into a deep sleep.

Mewa’s double tails remind me of espeon, but the darker coloring could just as equally be from an umbreon. Is it possible this is like the Lycanroc dusk form of mews?

Mewa is not part Espeon or Umbreon!

But that’s an interesting idea!!

Does this world have a (or more) Mewtwo? If so, do the Mews and Alex know about it, and what do they think about it?

Yes! Mewtwos do exist in my world!

Some would consider Mewa as a “Mewtwo,” though she is technically part of a different Mew cloning project.

Her project, dubbed “Project Cipher,” tried combining Mew DNA with various other DNA samples in an attempt to create a more controllable Mew clone. Out of 26 attempts, Mew-A is the only known survivor, despite being the first. It was a failed project.
