Snow in Southwest Detroit
I was so excited to wake up to snow on my patio Thursday morning!
It didn't last long, however; once I arrived in Southwest Detroit around 10:45, the white flakes were already melting and the air was a comfortable 37 degrees.
I had an awesome walk home (6 miles total) along Vernor Highway and Bagley Street, connecting to Corktown and up Rosa Parks. I just kept walking through North Corktown to Cass Corridor!

Bagley Pedestrian Bridge was the first cable-stayed span to be completed in the state of Michigan and is supported by 15 tension cables. Connecting east and west Mexicantown, the bridge opened May 5, 2010. 12/11/23

Had a lovely dinner at Los Galanes with my friend Shelley in Mexicantown the other night- the last time I was in this neighborhood, I rode my bike down on a beautiful October day! Is it spring yet?!
