The Meyer May House on Madison Street in Grand Rapids, MI This was an incredible tour and I recommended it to anyone in town that has a free hour and a half. Check online for times but the tour is currently free and so interesting. Designed by Frank Lloyd Wright in 1908 for Grand Rapids clothier Meyer May and his family. Restored in the 1980's to its former 1911 glory, this home takes you back in time. Beautiful experience. My favorite story our guide told was that when the children, Harriett and Robert May were young and their parents had company, they would tip toe down the stairs to the landing and peek under the desk, as there was a small railing they could peek thru to see the going ons of the adults in the dining room.
