After reading about it years ago I finally made it to ex-president Yanukovich’s Mezhyhirya Residence! Using government funds he created a truly excessive and lavish home. After he fled to Russia in 2014, the property was returned to the government and now is a museum. #ukraine #kiev #kyiv #mezhyhirya (at Mezhyhirya Residence) https://www.instagram.com/p/CJjzwDBj0kN/?igshid=1rvus6n02banz
#ObscuraTour: Day 2/5 #Mezhyhirya, #Ukraine We saw a lot of incredible things today. A flea wearing golden horse shoes is pretty high on the list, but also, just about the hardest thing to photograph. This shot is from Mezhyhirya. The former Ukrainian president Viktor Yanukovych enjoyed the finer things in life... and also, some pretty ridiculous toys. This imitation Spanish galleon was built on his grounds, to contain a private restaurant for the dictator’s own personal use.
