I'm fascinated by the links of light to sound. Both moving like waves and variably ungraspable to us. An unreachable aspect of reality where the human presence pushes up against boundaries, leaving us wobbly, even partially erased.

"My work has always been very rooted in painting and drawing practices, but recent interests have been pulling me outside of that. Over the past few months, I've been experimenting with different collage, photo manipulation and printmaking techniques. I collect fragments from issues of Art Forum, cut them out, rearrange, scan, digitally manipulate, and transfer them to a plate with UV lithography. The work has become progressively more sculptural as I've started to print on synthetic material."
