This piece, "Colony 001" from my #MFAthesis received the Wallace Library Purchase Prize and was purchased by RIT for its permanent collection. . It took a while for me to believe it, but I guess depositing the check makes it pretty real. . I'm especially pleased that they decided on this particular piece of mine because it is one of the first pieces that I produced for my thesis show, and it demonstrates some of my earliest successes with the #3dprinting of #ceramic components along with my previous method of using #slipcasting to produce components. . #3dprinted #sculpture
