My headcanons for Kyouya Tategami

(This had been in my drafts for three days)

He used to do martial arts but he quit (specifically, he was a red belt in karate)

He likes 2000s rock music and his favorite band is Linkin Park

Kyouya is a gamer

His favorite games are Dance Dance Revolution, Apex Legends and fighting games (because he’s competitive)

He can dance

Ginga and the others were shocked when they found out he can dance

Even though he says he doesn’t read, Kyouya’s a fan of Warrior Cats

Cool Jobs I Made Up But Still Wish We Saw in Beyblade

Bey Designers

People who design the ideas of beys and how they look and make them. There are really popular ones who make tons of beys and others who make specialized or more unique and custom ones. They typically are either loved or hated by mechanics due to their designs.

Performers

I’ve talked about these before but these bladers work with their beys to create a visual performance like performers do in Pokémon and unlike regular bladers, would be judged by the audience to see who wins. I do think this would be pretty popular too since we see bladers who already are combining performing with battling.

Blader Consultants

Ok ok, so Chao-Xin says that one of the reasons he likes beyblade is that the outfits are cool… have there be people who help bladers come up with their initial costume and style that makes them stand out as a blader. That would just kinda be cool though I do think mainly rich or very famous bladers would use them regularly.

Beyblade Trainers

We kind of see this in Coach Steel (ok, he kinda also does bey design to from what we see him do to modify Striker), but he runs a gym. I was mainly thinking that besides beyblade gym trainers, successful bladers might take on the jobs of basically being personal trainers/tutors to newer or less experienced bladers. Basically the beyblade equivalent of personal trainers.

Blader Fashion Designers

I’m just saying that there’s no way they’re wearing regular street clothes if it survives everything they go through in the show. Like seriously, what jacket can survive being surrounded by tornadoes constantly or what gloves can withstand catching a quickly moving (and therefore very hot) metal object without any damage and still look decent? There’s fashion made specially for bladers and therefore there must be blader fashion designers.

had a very stupid kyoben meet-cute idea on the train today,,

kyoya, being the paranoid prick that he is, feels someone staring at him on the train. he looks up and meets the gaze of a stranger wearing a beanie and seeming deep in thought.

this must of course be a challenge. kyoya holds the stranger's gaze, determined to assert his dominance.

benkei, the stranger, is very flustered by this. he just couldn't help but stare at the cute guy on the train and accidentally caught his eye! why is the cute guy glaring back at him??

after a few seconds of benkei being frozen in embarrassment, he lowers his eyes to his lap, blushing furiously.

"ha! i win!" kyoya declares loudly, because he thought the stranger had challenged him to a staring contest out of the blue.

benkei is too flustered to correct him.

Team Dungeon Headcanons

◽ When they were kids, Zeo would dare Masamune to do stupid thing and Masamune would do them because he's that stupid. In the background, Toby facepalms forever.

◽ All of them hate hospitals. It started when Toby became sick and it only became worse after the Spiral Force incident. They all freak out whenever they hear that one of their friends is n the hospital.

◽ Masamune is definitely the class clown. He spends most of the school year in detention and sometimes drags Zeo along as well. That's usually expected, but the teachers had a heart attack when those two dragged Toby into it as well.

◽ After the second season, Toby and Zeo went to therapy.

◽ Coach Steel calls Masamune "Problem Child" far more than his actual name.

◽ Everyone in the gym sometimes uses the place for movie nights. They always promise to not hold an impromptu tournament but it ends up happening anyway.

◽ King fits in so well that the three sometimes forget that there was a time he wasn't with them. They keep referencing their childhood escapades without realizing that Chris and King have no idea what they're talking about. King has stopped calling them out on that, but Chris still does.

◽ Toby is the voice of reason obviously. Even Chris can't be trusted.

◽ Coach Steel has unofficially adopted every blader in the gym (especially King and Chris). The four of them = a perpetual headache for Coach Steel.

◽ Chris is usually the instigator of whatever stupid thing they do, and King and Masamune are the hot headed ones who get riled up easily. Zeo lets them go on and laughs whenever they end up in trouble and Toby half-heartedly tries to stop them but is too amused by the prospect to actually stop King and Masamune.

But I personally headcanon Kyoya as a trans male.

No, I don’t have any evidence. I just relate to him and I’m trans so I headcanon him as trans too.
