I just watched Nimona with MFED (my family excluding dad) and it was great, but their commentary was so annoying......nehsusix

"why did everyone hate her? She didn't do anything to them, she could just shapeshift so people just decided to hate her for that, that's unrealistic " It's not !! It's literally what's happening in real life!! People are getting killed for miniscular things even when they're not hurting anyone! People are bullied and killed for being neurodivergent, gay, trans, black, poc, queer!! It's happening in the world even if it doesn't make logical sense!

"why did everyone forgive her so easily and made "I love nimona" notes after literally destroying the city?" Because she literally (supposedly) sacrificed herself and saved all of the citizens' life, which pretty much makes up for her destroying some parts of the city?? Are we watching the same movie??

"everyone hated her and she didn't do anything wrong why does everyone hate her it doesn't make sense" yeah that's the point. That's literally the point and that's exactly why it makes sense

This isn't to bash on my family or anything lol I just feel like they barely looked into the queercoding of it all even though it's very prevalent

After the war, Pidge decided to try make up (obliusly something light) and saw that she really enjoy use a light mascara and a red lipstick sometimes.

The problem is that she wasin a secret relationship with Keith, and she didn't want her colleagues or other people that worked at the Garrison to know (Especially Matt and Nadia... I mean... She would go crazy!). But when Keith came back on Earth after weeks or months in space, the only things that they two wanted was some kisses and a hug. She said to go one moment at the bathroom, instead she went on the opposite way, meeting him.

One day, she forgot that that morning she put her red lipstick on, and when she came back at the laboratory with all the MFE's and Veronica, they noticed her smudget lipstick. They all started laughing as she didn't understand at firts, but then Nadia spoke.

"Did you eat well? Your lipstick is riuned"

Pidge blushed imediatly.
