OOO this is a good one, I've never actually done this kind of list before! Problem is, that I am horrid at knowing any classic stuff, I just went to a few "top 100 classic literature" lists and tag searched every one of them on my lists, so I'm CERTAIN there are some missing. Ooo, a good request Lovely!!!!!!!! It's been a long time since I've recced some retirement fics, and a shame because I do actually really love reading old-people yaoi, LOL! Hmmm. I haven't read anything new since my last list in 2025, but I did a tag-skimming of my MFL list and found a lot of fics that could fit into your request, so I'm going to make a third list for you! :) So please not I haven't personally read anything on this list (check the previous two lists for those!) so heed tags and such
