2012: an incomplete, out of order and bullet-pointed summary

- first overnight train trip/first trip to Baltimore/most importantly first music festival attended at MARYLAND MOTHERFUCKING DEATHFEST, met Joey "Jelly" from Cough, was one degree of separation away from Electric Wizard via smoking the same weed as them before they played (although unfortunately not in the same room).

- second tattoo: hercules/unicorn beetle and all-seeing eye on my left hip

- my best friend from college moved across country, all my cries

- moved into Castle Gayskull with Purr: first time living together as a couple, new neighborhood, shared insurance and lease... it's getting all adult and shit up in this club.

- completed my second ouija board, designed labels for my aunt's business, and was commissioned to design the logo for a charity like a professional goddamn artist

- gained about 30 pounds of pure stress from my job actually becoming complicated and requiring (shudder) effort

- made incredible online-turned-IRL friends from as close as Logan Square, Chicago to as far as Norway and Australia <3 This was definitely the year I became reinvested in the mysterious friendship powers of the internet. 

- also became reinvested in dressing awesomely, started posting OOTDs and fell into an incredible network of queer femmes who rock my world and socks. 

- saw MSI live, when I thought that would never happen, and not so coincidentally went to my first show all by myself, because I am well aware that people with functioning eardrums probably don't enjoy them as much as I do. I also had a fan-fucking-tastic time and had Jimmy Urine sign my ticket.
