hello !

so, as you guys can probably tell, this directory has been going through a loss of activity, and the admin team wants to bring it back up !

to do this, we’ve decided to host a revamp ! as of today, july 18th, mapo will close for approximately a week to make a few changes, advertise for new members, host acceptances, let members plot, and come up with tasks and events for the future. during this time, no member will be unfollowed for activity.

no, mapo is not closing down or making any drastic changes, we just want to make sure this rp continues to flourish and run smoothly !

with this being said, members, we need your help ! if you guys can give us any suggestions, whether for things to change, future tasks or events, or just anything in general, please let us know! we hope to bring mapo up into an active and amazing directory !

Hello everybody! 

Admin C here - aka a new admin! I’m joining the team hoping to up activity and revamp this group so that more people will join or old members will start to be active again! Hopefully, with the help of the other admins, we can revitalize this group!

If you guys ever have any suggestions, let me know! I’ll probably be in charge of memes, coming up with new ideas in general, and trying to advertise. We’ll see though!

Hello, everyone! Unfortunately, things have been getting rather difficult in my personal life to manage continuing on as an admin so after a lot of thought, I have decided that I will be stepping down. My official departure will be happening during the weekend, not immediately. 

However, I don’t want to leave the blog without any admins since the other admins are on hiatus and there’s still uncertainty about when they’ll be able to return, so if anyone is able to commit time into managing this blog (and the other two blogs), then please feel free to message me anytime during this week.

honestly, your dark side of mapo idea like as much as it's a good interesting idea, mapo isn't that big? it's a district in seoul, one of the more medium sized ones too so it having a dark side like what you're thinking on doesn't make too much sense in some ways? it's also probably highly unlikely for there to be a lot of pornstars, camstars and drug dealers to be in the one district as well. i don't mean for this to sound rude at all, but it might be something to think about and consider.

No, no, you’re absolutely alright! We encourage all members to talk with us about what is troubling them or what they disagree with. The admod team has extensively talked about it and has decided to retire the idea indefinitely. We may go back to it at a later time, but for now, we will attempt to bring other ideas that the majority may enjoy. We will add a location or two along with the new housing complexes (which are almost done, by the way!!), but even those will be put on the back burner.

The admin team is here for the players of this directory, otherwise we would have never stepped up to take such a huge responsibility. So, this is the decision that we have come to. We will probably never be as great of admins as the previous golden trio were, but that doesn’t mean we will still not try to keep the remaining members as happy as possible.

I hope you will all continue to grow with us as we learn from our mistakes.

hiii I hope this isn't any trouble , but would it be possible to ask people to tag their memes? sometimes I get overwhelmed with all of the posts on the dash , or it makes me feel guilty about my own replies and memes I have to do... if it's too much trouble though thats ok !

we’re working on a theme revamp (!!!) and will be making new graphics for everything, so i apologize to those who are waiting on a formal acceptance! but since i’m a turtle and extremely indecisive, i don’t want to make everyone wait too long to interact with one another and get some plots rolling.
