Happy 1st Birthday MOLLY GRACE!!! Probably sounds way too typical to say "I can't believe it's already been a year!"....but I really can't! This time last year I was in the middle of labor, as you decided to wait a week past your due date to meet us! My water broke in the night and at 3:00am we arrived at the hospital! Alongside our sweet doula, we started waking the halls, then in and out of the tub, sitting on a birthing ball...all in the big ole effort of getting you into our arms! I look back on that day, and time was completely insignificant, and nothing else in the world mattered. And as tough and strenuous as labor is, I miss that day and that feeling of bringing you into the world! It's the best discomfort I've ever experienced, and I'll never forget all the feelings I felt that day and night. We left the hospital only 24 hours after you were born, cause we just couldn't wait to get you home! You are the SWEETEST, loving baby, full of life and bouncing off the walls! You definitely take after both your mom and dad with your energy and spunk....guess we asked for it! You crack us up when you laugh at yourself.....you have quite the silly personality and I just love it! You love to play and you play hard. Hiking has been your favorite adventure during your first year....you've been too many times to count! You have 8 teeth, walking every where, saying "mama, dada, bye-bye, night-night, Dougie" and you copy lots of other random things we say, and you have your own sweet and jabberish language....talking allllll the time! We are so thankful God blessed us with you.....you are the joy of our lives and a light in our home. There is no one else like you, and Jesus loves you soooooo much! What an honor we have to be your parents! I gush over being your mommy, and I pray this year is full of new experiences, fun, and love!
