* — cringe worthy decisions [ jy & OPEN ]

tiger stripes was a pretty intimidating store to enter to begin with. so jiyoung was used to people roaming around, checking price tags and slowly walking out but what amused her the most was when people were bold enough to take stuff from the rack and try them on. of course being the "know-it-all" she is, it was inevitable to judge their choice of clothing and how well it would go together.

the store was at a steady pace and she was going around checking if people needed help and whatnot but someone caught her eye and by the amount of clothes the person had, they were going to be in the changing room for quite a while. she eyed most of the clothing and her eyebrows pinched together.

waiting until the person slowly made their way to the changing rooms, jiyoung took another route to the same place and made herself look busy before noticing them arrive.

turning her head to the side, she grinned. "hi... um, how many would you like to try on?" lowkey she was cringing at the huge amount of clothing.

It was the perfect weather to be outside -- and so that’s what belle did. She’d even woken up early on the weekend in hopes of catching some sliver of inspiration for some sketches. That’s how she found herself hidden beneath the shade in a rather reclusive spot of the park sketching the patch of wildflowers and view a few feet from her. That is until a shadow arrived. 

“I don’t mean to be rude, but you’re blocking the light.”

–– Another day on the job. Seung liked to sometimes take a whole day’s shift at work even though he was told multiple times that he didn’t have to. He just liked to distract himself with things other than burying his face in a sketchbook like he always does since sometimes that leads him to thinking about everything going on around him, and therefore that would lead to bad things. Really bad. He didn’t want that. Not today. 

Seung was behind the counter, leaning on the wall. It wasn’t a very busy day today and he didn’t know if he liked that or not. Rush hours distracted him and he liked that, but his social anxiety gets worse for him sometimes when that happens. There was never a win-win situation for him. 

He stood up straight when a few new orders came in and he suddenly was in a coffee making mode, like a machine. Seung memorized everything like the palm of his hand; he never messed up an order unless there was someone rushing him. A few minutes later, Seung finished the last order of coffee and sighed after giving it to the customer. He stood there for a moment, feeling tired. He’s been here since this morning and it was almost 7:00pm now. Twelve hours at work.. that’s not new for Seung at all. Especially since he didn’t sleep the night before.

He finally gave up and decided to leave. He excused himself from his boss and picked up his backpack after changing back to his regular clothes; he felt uncomfortable walking out in the streets wearing his work uniform. Seung put on a white cap that hid his grey-dyed hair and sat on the bench of an empty bus stop. A few minutes later, he was invested in a drawing in his small sketchbook when he heard a sound next to him. He looked at the person with a raised eyebrow, then took out a small pad and wrote; “Were you talking to me?”
