Seraphinite (Redraw/Redesign)

gemsona-hq’s prompt for this month is Seraphinite. I have one, and haven’t drawn her since 2016 . She’s a forced fusion between Celestite and Apatite, Apatite roping Celest in and forcing her to fuse and Celest giving in in order to make sure her friends aren’t the ones to be harmed. So Seraph is an incredibly toxic fusion/relationship, breaking down the longer she exists. 

She does have three sets of wings but wings are hard to draw and stuff. 

Under the cut is the eventual turnout of Seraph, who speaks much like Malachite with both her components speaking at once instead of her own voice. She’s incredibly unstable and dangerous.

Sorry for the long post! I did a lot for this one. Here’s my take on @gemsona-hq‘s monthly gemsona challenge, Grape Agate! I upped the ante on the challenge by also designing a corrupted monster for her. Also some how she gained a magical girl theme.

A gem created for Pink Diamond, Grape Agate is not like any of her kind. She’s cowardly, lacks any leadership skills, and quite immature. Grape Agate was even afraid of her responsibilities as an agate and decided to run off. She ended joining the Crystal Gems, but was too scared to fight for the cause and abandoned them too. She deeply regretted her decision and as if it was an act of karma, she succumbed to the effects of the corrupted light and became a monster. Now Grape Agate roams the Earth carrying a thick fog wherever she goes.

Grape Agate’s weapon is a bubble wand. The bubbles it creates can create heavy fog or act as bombs. This is a power that carries to her corrupted form which oozes from the gaps of her floating limbs. In her corrupted form, Grape Agate can’t control it. Normally she creates a trail of fog, but if startled, the bubbles become explosive. This happens often as the thick fog she creates easily spooks her.

Oh my!!! Back at it with The Gemsona Challenges!!! This little lovely is Grape Agate! She does watch over amethysts like Holly Blue, but she isn't strict, she's more sad and lazy. She cares for every single Amethyst she has. Her weapon is a whip that sort of resembles a grape vine.

This month’s gem design challenge was a gem I already have !!! :D its Grape’s time to shine!

She’s one of the least intimidating Agates you’ll ever meet, but she makes a fair and noble leader when she has to be one!  She’s part of the Fruit Gem squad, which is to say... a member Goldstone’s collection court.  She loves to goof off and have fun, but only at the appropriate times.  She enjoys making friends but doesn’t like to go out of her way to talk to others.

Her gem is kind of between her lower lip and chin.

Grape agate

This is Grape Agate! She, like other agates, is a manager. They used to belong to Pink Diamond's court, but now belong to Blue's. A grape agate's typical weapon is a flagrum, and they sometimes have the ability to grow plant life (due to the 'grape' in their name). This particular agate is much more meek and less assertive than your typical agate, especially around higher ups. She is often mocked by her peers and even those she manages, though she doesn't do much about it. She secretly fantasizes about escaping homeworld and living on her own on some far off planet.

Grape agate was used to “deescalate” situations by words mostly but by force if necessary. she was the original agate  for the human zoo but after the rose quartz incident she and her pearl were transferred into blue diamonds court as “memorials” of pink diamond. though she secretly agreed heavily with the rebellion, to support fusion and her pearls liberation.
