To take her mind off of her previous blunder, we managed to stumble across a humble little shadow play. It was portraying the time that Miyori and I first met. How I can recall it like it was just yesterday:
She and her adventuring party had stumbled into the lower level of the Death House. Curiosity had gotten the better of her, and she had touched a crystal ball. It would usually trigger a hoard of my own servants to attack, but… a satyr, already turned? I myself had to investigate.
I entered her mind. Offered my protection in exchange for her servitude… and then she laughed at me, like it was the most hilarious thing she had heard. Such petulance, I used to think. Little did I know that such actions would intrigue me… more than I thought they would.
Back!!! With day 8 of Strahdtober +Miyori!
This one was so adorable, and actually takes inspiration from the actual campaign I ran with Miyori. I hope I can relate back to it even more! :3
In her mad pursuit of trying to entertain me with such childish activities at this carnival, it seems she’s grown bashful after making a rather comical mistake.
She brought me to some sort of.. house of mirrors. After one glance, she realized her flaw. Neither I, nor she could see herself in them. With her mood dampened, she walked right back out of the tent. Although it was quite humorous that she forgot about that little side effect, it does bother me somewhat that she became so downtrodden about it all.
…perhaps we could find something else to do.

I mean, I’m not committed to do something every day, but it’s good to draw something, you know? Alright. I’ll see ya.
Cotton candy, or as Miyori calls it: candy floss, has always perplexed me. Sugar heated and spun into a wispy, puffy form. The flavor does not change, and yet the texture does.
I never was one to seek out sweets, but she insisted on getting one, in the crude image of a bat. It is, however, impressive that it could keep such a shape.
…suppose it’s alright, as long as she’s satisfied with it.

Miyori would not stop incessantly chattering about some harvest festival that she had organized. Though I have told her many a time that I find these kinds of celebrations tom be trivial, I decided to be kind and indulge her whims today. After all, she said that she had a hand in organizing the thing. Hopefully my arrival will not be greeted with any sort of fanfare. I cannot stand any sort of loud cheering and large crowds.

WHO THE HELL IS THIS MF, AND WHY DO I THINK THEY’LL ABSTRACT?
You know them. You’ve seen them, and yet the entire Circus cast doesn’t even know they’re here! I think they’re gonna Abstract! Theory under the cut!
So we’ve seen them. This nameless mannequin, hiding around corners, peeking in on conversations, having no name, no backstory, and no invitations to adventures.
“But Teeny,” I hear you question. “We don’t know anything about them except the fact that they exist! Why would they abstract?”
What if I told you that that’s literally the answer why I think they will?
Think about it. Kinger said something to the effect of “The worst thing you can feel in the circus is unloved.” To not be considered or concerned for at all. Keep that in mind while we talk about:
Pomni’s first day at the circus! As soon as they dropped in, there was Caine! Introducing himself, the circus, and the rest of the cast. Pomni was immediately integrated into the group, dynamics were formed, and everybody knew everyone. But look at our nameless fellow here:
Always peeking in. Never given a name, an introduction to anything, just an easter egg that the viewers know about, and someone that absolutely no one in the circus knows about.
Some people may think such a character may have nefarious intentions, whether they’re someone from the outside, or a mannequin NPC that just happened to gain sentience. But what if their habit of peeking in on conversations is something else entirely?
What if it’s social anxiety?
Think back to what I said before. Pomni was properly introduced and integrated into a group with the help of Caine. There’s already an established dynamic, and this mannequin just shows up someday, unnamed and unannounced. For all we know, they could have arrived during the middle of an adventure, when everyone else was too busy to notice.
And as someone with social anxiety myself, I can tell you, that unless you have help from someone in the group, integrating suddenly into an established group dynamic feels like HELL.
What if the mannequin wants to be apart of everything, but hasn’t mustered up the courage to come say hello? They only ever show up when the other characters are interacting with each other. What if they feel unloved for not being included, named, and announced to the group? Shouldn’t Caine know they exist? What if they get so sick and jealous of being an outsider looking in that they just—!
Do that?! After all, Gooseworx said that the next person to abstract would be very unexpected. What if it was the person we least expected? What if it’s the person we all expect to never know anything about at all?
Or idk, I could just be talking outta my ass. Who knows. But I think we’re gonna learn more about this mannequin sooner than later. Ciao :3

actually , i dunno if id really want someone exactly like vaughn . hed probably yell at me and i cant just load a new save file and get a better outcome with a real guy
