Usually I draw my book Ozma with short hair but wanted to go with the more canon design for this

MGM Ozma’s design is from a Marvel comic book that was based in the movie and used the designs

Wicked Ozma is intended to be for the movie-verse but her physical features are inspired by the book)

And here’s the Wicked Witches!

Now the first two, their names are non canon. Momba is the name given to the Wicked Witch in the 1910 silent film of Wizard of Oz, and the name definitely inspired by Mombi from the later books. But I picked it as it was a name that was around while Baum was still alive and he was tangentially involved with the company that made the film. And then Ilmara is a name I created as an anagram of Almira, as the Witch in MGM Oz is counterparted by Almira Gultch.

Working more on expanding MGM Oz, one of the things that makes it very different from Wicked is that there's absolutely no reason for anyone to think that the Witch being green is weird, because all of the Winkies are green.

If anyone's the outcast over in MGM Winkieland it's the MGM Witch of the East (who's name I might change, I just made it another anagram of Almira but I want something more distinctive) who despite being the version that first coined the two wicked witches as sisters (they're unrelated in the books) has frequently been characterized as plae and blonde

Like, what is up with that? Are they half sisters? Step-sisters? Is she just an albino Winkie? XD

Still deciding, so watch this space :)

And here’s updated Locasta and her background. I changed her color to red as she’s in the South in this version, and I’ve decided that Glinda changes her color from purple to pink in Rememberance of the friend who helped her in her youth.
