this scene is so insane, it genuinely looks like a horror movie. dorothy is the killer, she kills these poor sapphic girls' dreams.
pls just imagine being dorothy and expecting glinda to show up and save her 😭 instead glinda halfheartedly begs elphaba to free dorothy for about 0.5 seconds before proceeding to duet the saddest lesbian song imaginable with her as if there isn't a literal child in their metaphorical basement
