update: I’m a little over halfway through MGS. I’m really enjoying it. I’m kinda surprised at how much they actually reference the first two games. Definitely wasn’t expecting that

idk what i was expecting when going from the 2d games to the 3d ones, but MGS is nearly exactly like MG and MG2. I mean it’s harder of course because you have a smaller field of vision you have to aim top-down with a joystick, but for the most part its literally just like MG2, down to the controls. Its interesting and I like it, because it makes the transition from 2d to 3d so much easier than i was expecting

Why are there so few good pictures of Liquid Snake (sans Ocelot)? And don’t tell me it’s because he only exists in one game and some concept art, because that’s the absolute truth and it’s frustrating me.

is he going to spend like a solid minute blinking listeing to music? im only partially complaining cause the music is good and also i mean i think in story his full within his rights to blink for like a solid minute or two but. shit. gosh darn i wanna see the fire and shit thats what i came here for

having now slept on it i can say the second last little scene, the one where sunny and otacon are talking, that fucked me up probably the most out of any of the scenes lmao. though a lot of parts in the last big bit were very sad, though i cried more just before the end than i did at the actual end.

the ending voice over thing over the logo wasnt sad which was probably the point.

all in all a good way to wrench my heart out for characters i dont care about all that much
