We know Les Enfants Terribles was abandoned in 1976, when the twins were four. And around the same time, Skull Face poisoned Zero. So the guy was debilitating already. Maybe he wanted a last reminder of Big Boss as he stops functioning.

Imagine Eli putting up with this old freak as he goes on hours-long rants about some guy named Snake/Jack, all day, every day. FOR YEARS. No wonder Eli hated his dad before meeting him.

in japan, there is an association between a person's blood type and their personality. this is apparently as popular as astrology is in the west, with certain traits believed to be determined by blood type

if you use the radio often enough in mgs3, you will be able to see extra information about the support team, including their blood types

assuming these aren't random and have been chosen to fit the characters, this could be useful for gaining an even deeper insight into their personalities

i was playing injustice two story mode (its super fun ) towards the end batman and superman are talking about the days before everything got royally screwed. more specifically they were talking about sups finding out Louis was pregnant and batman knowing even before he told him. during this cinematic sups said “i miss who we were back then”  and I cant help but think of the original patriots form metal gear solid. it would be big boss talking about/to them. idk my idea is like all the original patriots are sitting in a bar in Montana  there joking and laughing about the fox unit paramedic with a light in her eyes bringing up snakes/big bosses eating habits and hatred of vampires . he retorts by calling her quack and paramedic sticks her  tongue out at him. Eva and Adam are making fun of signit for making a mask that can blink but you cant talk while using. zero brings up the croc hat and the duel snake won by taking a nap (its cannon that snake waited the end out and he died of old age fight me XD... pls don’t i’m weak) there is a pause in the banter for a just a moment a solitary second all was right with the world snake didn't kill the boss the schism the schemes all of it didn't happen for just a second. then it came back the killing the hurt the plotting  the manipulation the sides of the argument the internal war. zero signed and said “i miss who we were back then before all of this, back then” he said gesturing to the smiling faces of the original patriots in a photo hanging on the wall . the smiles faded form everyone's faces and just for a second they could see there future they would all die alone never to feel that friendship again. one by one they stood up there faces sober and left until it was just big boss who took the photo down off the wall and said “yea.... me to “ then he lit a match, a cigar and then photo letting it burn for till his figure tips before walking out into the future into outer heaven. your thoughts its long its rambling and honestly it left me feeling empty inside whats the phrase the road to hell is paved with good intentions?
