I've seen people point this out before but I never made the connection until seeing these entries back-to-back
"You're Big Boss now" -> *Operation Intrude N313* (the operation where Venom is killed by Solid Snake) -> Ocelot and Kaz have their phonecall
ALSO the note at the end, implying Venom is completely discarding his old identity and embracing being Big Boss's phantom.
