anything I post is an invitation for discussion

feel free to ask for organizational and cw tags. (as of now I haven't bothered to cw stuff that is typical for the series like violence or smoking)

↓Tag guide below↓
Things which are uNSafe For Workplace viewing due to sexual content are tagged as a variation of #nsft. Specifically #nsft text, #nsft audio and just #nsft for visuals. This way you can block tags as is applicable to your current situation. I'll switch to the traditional acronym when it becomes clear that tumblr isn't filtering it.
EDIT: Now that tumblr automatically puts a mature community label on posts tagged #nsfw instead of letting users flag posts manually I will be switching switch to the traditional acronym when i get the chance.
Obscure characters/concepts are tagged more rigorously than common ones based on the assumption that if you're scrolling through their tag, you're probably desperate for content.
Anything explicitly referring to sex acts is age-gated. I also use #suggestive for things that aren't necessarily inappropriate but you might not want on your screen in certain situations.
There won't be anything erotic on this blog. I don't screen links, though.
I usually tag explicitly shippy content with just the ship name, not the individual characters.
Obscure character tags:
#leonard ruin an mgsv novel exclusive character, #nuke (the kitten), #pequod my beloved, #strangelove mgs to distinguish from the movie, #john (rairose child), #jupiter family
Extra tags for occurrences of things I find fun:
#🍔, #📦 for cardboard boxes, #🐆 for ocelots (the animal), #further reading for references to other media that metal gear heavily draws from, #mgsv emblems, #third wheel raiden
One time i got pissed off draiwng mgs1 snake and drew him as generic green alien and ive been thinking about it ever since. Hal as an astronaut too but i didnt want to put any more effort in
I legitimately think the first video game to ever say the word "bisexual" out loud was Metal Gear Solid 2: Sons of Liberty. There is a nonzero chance it was actually the first video game to print "bisexual" in a text format.
Based on what I found, the first ever bisexual character in a video game was Curtis Craig from Phantasmagoria 2 (1996) but I have yet to find out if he says the word "bisexual" in the scene where this is revealed
I once again have to point out for those who've never played mgs2 he says this when asked if another character that goes by the name of vamp is a vampire
The fact that Snake is familiar with queer slang (especially vamp, which isn't well known) is a very good indicator he himself could be queer. Granted, I haven't played the game but from what I've heard from people who did, he isn't the most heterosexual man around.
