When watching dead boy detectives i recognized the actor who played Kashi's face but couldn't figure out where from
One cast search later i realized it was because he played Kevin G in the Broadway adaptation of Mean Girls 😭
first fully completed thing w my tablet. zoom on the face bc of the details
Everyone joking lightheartedly about how mean girls the musical movie was bad is lying to you. They are trying to gatekeep a movie with so many astonishingly talented women it is probably hazardous because they think that you can't handle it. Or they think any movie that isn't a comedy is worthless. Either way. Don't. Let them fool you. You deserve good things. You deserve to see lesbians putting on the performance of their life. Watch the movie. Find out for yourself.
Major fl@sh warning though.

round 1, poll 2: who is the Most musical tumblrman (gender neutral)?
the emcee
regina george
emcee propaganda
While both the revival and original Emcee are TEXTBOOK tumblrman, I’m partial to the revival Emcee. Visually, I mean, cmon, look at him. He’s like if milo thatch did vampire drag. Storywise, he’s this morally ambiguous mischief-enabling narrator, sneaking in to make funny bits out of the other characters’ situations, as well as interjecting periodically with social commentary thinly veiled with dirty jokes. Yknow that tumblr post that’s like “I’m a sucker for when a character drops a facade”? Yeah that’s the Emcee to a T. The court jester until it’s Serious Time. Also he’s got a silly little accent. For funsies.
regina propaganda
i have a big, lesbian crush on her
mean girls the movie the musical the movie being bad is not at all a surprise that's like when you put a sentence into google translate and then run it through six different languages and then translate it back to its original language. oh it's mangled beyond repair now? who could have possibly foreseen that
is it, like, a universal experience for mean girls the musical fans to first listen to "someone gets hurt" out of context and think it's a vaguely homoerotic song from regina to cady before realizing with great disappointment that it's just regina gaslighting aaron
