I decided to make a first aid video! For a grade. Guess who made it an entire my hero reference. The first ver was basically only aizawa but then it was considered “too mean” sadly. So had improvise a bit. Hey atleast my teachers cool w me referencing an anime hehe.
project no.2 (aizawa ref cuz I can yayyyy n might as well make the entire thing a full mha ref actually… )
*aizawa walking in tired n grumpy like always* first aid, cause apparently i have to teach you EVERYTHING, *sighs in classic aizawa)
Right first aid. Cause apparently you problem children cant go on with five minutes without injuring yourself. Let’s get this over with
*And very dramatic fall (possibly bakugo stomping and falling over mad)*
See what I mean? *groans while face palm* (turns to bakugo n glares at him before he screams)
This is a first aid kit. No it isn’t a prop, and is supposed to be with you instead of being another damsel in distress with your equally useless friend.
Bandages. For cuts. Not for decoration. Not for pretending you’re injured for attention
Gauze. It absorbs blood. Don’t use your sleeve. Or your friend’s sleeve. Use this
Antiseptic wipes. They clean wounds. Yes, it stings. No, you won’t die.
Cotton balls. For cleaning. Not for arts and crafts. Please don’t glue these to anything
Medical tape. For holding gauze in place. Not for taping your friend’s mouth shut. I shouldn’t have to say that . And also, sero, you can’t use your tape. Please don’t.
gauze roll. For wrapping injuries. Not for mummifying yourself. But you’ll probably try anyway
Triangular bandage. It’s for slings. Or head wraps. Or pretending you’re in an action movie. Preferably the first two. Huh?! What no! Who the hell wrote my script?! It’s for the first two. Only those. I swear if any- *video gets cut! Yayyyyyyyy*
Scissors. For cutting tape and bandages. Not hair. Not clothing
Tweezers. For removing splinters. Not for picking up snacks. Yes, someone has tried that
A sterile pad. It’s round. It absorbs things. That’s it. Don’t over think it.
eye pad. Yes… for your eye. Not a makeup remover. Not a tiny pillow. And also yes I wear one too. And no it’s not a fashion statement .Don’t ask why I wear it.
*izuku all nervous* um why don’t you do take some rest sensei? *practically pushes aizawa out of frame* um iida? Could you take over?
Yes of course midoriya.
Now where was I… ah yes DRSABC
D- danger
"Reckless behavior leads to preventable injuries!
I urge you to remain vigilant, observant, and thoughtful at all times. Always check around you before going to help other! " hand-chop thingie
R- response
"If a classmate appears unwell, approach them with calm professionalism!
A polite inquiry such as, 'Are you alright?' is both appropriate and commendable!
There is NO need for panic or exaggerated reactions!"
S- send for help!
In the event of a serious concern, you MUST contact a responsible adult or emergency services
IMMEDIATELY!
Proper protocol exists for a REASON!
A- airway!
Is their airway blocked? Open their mouth and tilt the head back to open the air way up!
B- breathing
Are they breathing fine? Check, feel listen or hear. If they are breathing fine, commendable! If not don’t panic!
C- circulation,
See if they have a pulse? Putting you hand on a pulse point, neck or wrist ,will let you know! If there isn’t a pulse, it is very advisable to give CPR
Mind if I take over now iida?
Go ahead momo
Minor Injuries
Small cuts or scrapes are common, but they should still be handled properly.
Please avoid using anything that isn't intended for first aid. A simple clean with bzk wipe and a bandage is perfect.
Sprains & Strains
If someone injures a joint, they should rest and avoid placing weight on it.
Overexertion can worsen the injury.
An easy way it remember is the R.I.C.E method, rest, ice, compress (wrap) and elevate.
And Todoroki, although your Quirk is remarkable, freezing limbs is not advisable without professional instruction.
If Someone Faints
If a classmate faints, please remain calm.
Give them space, help them lie down safely, and keep the environment quiet.
Panicking or shouting will not improve the situation. It is better of keeping them in the recovery position if they have normal pulse and breathing patterns.
