the soot-craft family all have some kind of horn-like appendages because i said so. philza has antlers that blossom with foliage in the warmer seasons and get coated with frost during the colder seasons. wilbur only has one offset, rounded horn which sparks when he gets emotional and starts to crack under extreme stress. fundy’s horns start off as small and unassuming nubs however they eventually spiral into those of a ram’s.

I think what my hero academia does better than like any other super hero media (and most media in general) is the struggle. The indomitable (human) spirit to accomplish the greatest task you can imagine. Atlas bearing the weight of the sky type shit. The tenacity!
