In art rules, it says that the art must be "lined". Then, what about paintings? Paintings usually don't have linearts.
When I said lined I was hoping to show that you should not submit a quick sketch as a gift. What it really comes down to is that an art gift is not work in progress.
So if you do a painting you don’t need to have it lined, it just needs to be clear that you spent time on it!
