I wasn’t asleep. I was deep in the fields of my mind, where the self encounters the self entwined. A poet once told me the soul was swans or swine, all animals need something on which to dine; and my soul is mine but not mine. I don’t mind. I wasn’t asleep, I keep turning back at the point between consciousness and beyond. I return to the chorus of the song: the sound of wind rustling through wheat. I wasn’t asleep, so I got to my feet. If I stayed there unmoving I knew I would weep, still yearning for the thing I can’t reach.

I worked today, and will again tomorrow and thursday. on wednesday I’m volunteering with a program to help kids write.

whenever i work or do things i get really low on spoons. my point is that I don’t really have enough energy to do readings on days like this.

so should i try and do the month’s challenge and do a bad job? or should i wait until my day(s) off and catch up?

this has been a problem for me and so i was wondering if anyone has advice?
