AS STUDENTS settle in to their lives at Hogwarts, some for the first time, school life begins to feel normal again. Classes start up, setting a routine. The rush of adrenaline that comes with starting a new year only grows with the beginning of club meetings and friend groups getting together. To add to the excitement, Quidditch tryouts for House teams are on the horizon -- just a few days away.

Any new starters should take place between September 12th and October 2nd. Your starters can be on any subject, though the above information may provide some context for what is happening at Hogwarts at this time! You may continue threads from the previous timestamp, but you may want to wrap them up.

THE TRAIN departs Platform 9 ¾  at precisely 11 o’clock on Wednesday morning. Returning students reunite with friends and settle in for the journey. That evening they gather in the Great Hall for the Welcome Feast and Sorting Ceremony. Classes start the following morning. The first week and a half is a buzz of excitement for the most part, as the stress of a new semester hasn’t quite sunk in yet.
