Intro Post
Hello teammates!
I am not a mole sent from team Q-branch, but I was a member of team Q-branch last year. I have been transfered to team 00 since you were short a member and I forgot to sign up for the thing on time - d’oh!
Most of you know me as an avid 00Q-shipper who jumped on the Bond bandwagon after SPECTRE premiered. I am boring af, so I only ship 00Q and I only write canon-compliant-ish fanfic.
I accumulated tons of points for my team last year, despite nearly dying of pneumonia for the entire fest. I was persistent! I am looking forward to playing with team 00 and I was thrilled to see that most of my friends are on this team anyway!
My first James Bond movie was Diamonds Are Forever, which I saw with my cousin when our Uncle Jim dropped us off at the movies when we were little kids. Uncle Jim was beloved by all, but he definitely was no ‘parent of the year.’
My fave Bond is Daniel Craig and my fave Bond actor is Ben Whishaw, who I had the pleasure of seeing perform live on a number of occasions. Also, he smiled at me once when we ducked out of a rainstorm and into the Harold Pinter theatre lobby. *faints*
I chose #001 because I am older than all of you! I am long-time member of the Brokeback Mountain and Merlin fandoms and I have written fanfic extensively there.
I can’t wait to get started with my new team!

MI6 Libation Headcanons
007- James never tired of his signature martini, but sometimes he felt more adventurous. A particularly stressful mission debriefing or a harsh chastisement from Q over losing his tech put him in the mood for something bittersweet. He added the ingredients to a glass of ice: one measure of Gordon’s, one measure of sweet vermouth, and one measure of Campari. Shaken not stirred. He garnished his Negroni with an orange slice he had stolen from the MI6 Café’s salad bar.
Q- It came as no surprise to Q that Bond had rewarded his much-too-helpful restoration of the Aston Martin with a bottle of champagne on ice. He had really been too obvious, lingering over mimosas at the MI6 brunch, filling the Q-Branch refrigerator with sale champagne in the early days of January. Although Q was furious over Bond’s unscheduled trip to Altaussee, he kept the $300 bottle of Bollinger Vieilles Vignes Francais unopened, waiting for a reason to celebrate.
M- Like his predecessor, M often had occasion to entertain visitors in his corner office. From newly-promoted double-ohs to Britain’s leading politicians, the men and women could rely on M to pour a couple fingers of Macallan into a crystal glass. The smooth whisky put the new double-ohs at ease and impressed the dignitaries just enough so that M stood a good chance of getting what he wanted from them.
Moneypenny- Eve wasn’t one for fancy fruity drinks or elaborately-prepared cocktails. She stayed away from hard liquor because it affected her ability to perform her job to the exacting level that she expected of herself. She found that a single glass of wine was enough to give her a little buzz when she joined her co-workers after a busy day. A simple Chardonnay was as classic as her tailored dresses and smart wardrobe.
Tanner- Whether kicking back with friends over the weekend or blowing off steam with Q after a stressful day on comms, Tanner enjoyed an ice-cold Heineken. The beer was refreshing when Bill needed it to be and it took the edge off when he needed to relax. Mrs. Tanner always managed to keep a rack of it in the Tanner household kitchen.
009- Alex had only tried alcohol a few times before he met Danny. After that first night of alcohol-fuelled sex, he grew to appreciate a fine wine. In fact, he soon learned that anything would have tasted better than that stale liqueur that Danny dug out of Sarah and Pavel’s kitchen cabinet. His favourite drink was a rich Port that warmed him on chilly nights when he and Danny snuggled on the sofa.
Minion #13345- Everyone kept a bottle of Bailey’s Irish Cream in their desk drawer, didn’t they? A dash of it in a cup of coffee helped Minion #13345 make friends with his co-workers. Whenever one of his fellow minions was having a rough day, he’d show up at their desk with a steaming cup of enhanced coffee. And despite working in the business of spies, the Quartermaster was none the wiser.

Thank you to everyone who took part in the MI6 Cafe 007 Games during July! It was great fun for all of us mods to watch you take part (and for us to take part ourselves!).
