    Aleck smirked, “Oh, Yuki would so want to know.” Aris moved, walking at a faster pace in order to make it to the control room, Mia and Aleck following behind. “Honestly, today can’t get much worse.”

    Mia raised an eyebrow as she looked over at him, “What makes you say that?”

    “I woke up this morning thinking, ‘Ah, today is going to be great, I get to stay in a spaceship for six months orbiting Mars.’ Not, “Ah, today I am going to get abducted by aliens and crash land on some unknown planet, and oh yeah, I could have died.”

    Mia rolled her eyes, “But you didn’t.”

    “But I didn’t.”

Aris stopped, eyes still shining brightly, tears overflowing from them like a dam broke inside of them. “Aiko… Let me, help you…” Aris rolled up their sleeve of their flight suit, before bringing their wrist to their lips, before biting down harshly on their own skin.

    Aiko cringed, Aris following suit as blood filled their mouth, before leaning down closer to Aiko’s face. “What are you, -,” Aiko was cut off by Aris pressing their lips against her own, having no choice but to swallow the liquid, burning her tongue. Aiko felt her eyes flutter close, okay with the feeling, before Aris pulled away, leaving her wanting more. Aris cringed as they wiped their mouth.

    Mia had turned away in disgust, burying her face into her hands, wanting to scream, as Aleck looked like he might throw up beside her.

    Aleck turned and looked Mia dead in the eyes and whispered, “If that wasn’t straight from some vampire erotica, I don’t know what is.” Mia felt her nose crinkle up a little, shaking her head, trying not to laugh as she followed Aris onward.
