Lopez family only
So we know that things have been a little weird lately, neither of us have been our usual selves and it’s time we explained what is going on. Now before any of you get either of these ideas in your head, no one is dying and no one is getting divorced, but that doesn’t mean that what’s going on shouldn’t be taken seriously.
Mommy is sick, she has MS. It’s being treated but it means that she has good days and bad days. You guys have to be a little gentle with her, don’t treat her like she’s going to break because she’s not, just don’t go charging into her. This makes her very tired so if you see Mommy sleeping, try not to wake her unless you absolutely have to. She’s still the same Mommy she’s always been, which means she still wants to get her cuddle on with her babies.
I know you guys have been worrying because of how much Mami has been sick and as much as we’d love to say it’s going to stop soon, it’s probably not but that’s the joy of morning sickness for you. Mami’s pregnant, this isn’t something we’d planned and it’s definitely not how we thought we’d extend our family but it’s happened. We’re not ready to tell people yet but wanted you guys to know so you wouldn’t worry about Mami being sick all the time. If you see Mami sleeping, wake her at your own risk because growing a person is hard work.
