It took the best of Ann again, for the second time this week.
It happened a lot lately, she was not sure why. Usually she was like this only when her birthday was approaching, but her birthday was months away.
A lot of question was rushing through her head as she was sitting on the bow of the ship by this lovely, yet chilly night.
The most important were about her children. Did she deserve to be a mother? And as long as she loved them, had it been really clever of her to have them while she was the daughter of such a monster? And also…
Did she deserve to be alive? Or simply belong to such a loving crew?
She felt like she did not worth it, that she should leave before it was too late because she would only bring them trouble.
|♠| —- “I shouldn’t have been born in the first place.” She whispered to herself. “Or should simply be alone, so no one would get hurt…”
How many time before the government realize who she really is? When they would, none of her crewmates and family would be safe. And her children? What would happen to them?
She got cut in her thoughts by a feminine voice behind her, saying,
“No one is born into this world to be alone.”
The commander startled and turned to see Mia standing behind her, blinking a bit at these words of wisdom. She remained still and silent, unable to speak or move, just staring at her sister in surprise, wondering what will be her next move.
♪ Mia hadn't really planned anything. She had just left the trio of siblings alone so they could talk about something serious. The blue haired female didn't question it. Besides it had looked important and she had decided to not bother them.
Now on deck she saw the commander of the second division. Their commander. Well Mia had been in Izo's division at first to learn and properly handle guns and clean them as well. Not to alarm the young woman Mia floated towards her but the words she whispered to herself in self loathing let her stop in her tracks and her blue eyes widened in shock.
Did Ann really think and believe such nonsense? A determined gaze replaced the shocked one. She stopped using her devil fruit and slowly walked towards the black haired freckled woman. Mia only stopped as she was a few feet away.
A deep breath and thinking about what to say later she finally opened her mouth.
"No one is born into this world to be alone." she proclaimed without hesitating. "Even when we are born we already have someone that loves us. A place to belong. Eventually.. even if we don't have that place we find it."
