Attractions around Miami are numerous. There are a number of museums and galleries, with the Bass Museum of Art and the Vizcaya Museum possible at the top of the list; the former features works by Picasso, Gris and Gonzalez. The Biltmore Hotel is worth seeing for its opulent luxury, including an 18-hole golf course designed by Donald Ross, 10 tennis courts and many exclusive bars and restaurants.

A glitzy place such as Miami should offer a decent shopping experience, and that is exactly what it does: Miami holidays provide the opportunity to shop at some of the most sophisticated department stores and boutiques to be found anywhere in the US. One of the key shopping areas in Miami is the Miracle Mile in Coral Gables, which has a range of quality boutiques, galleries and department stores. The Bayside Marketplace is on the waterfront in downtown Miami, and has a more informal mix of art stalls and boutique stores.
