You had been running through the haunted house so fast you had lost your friends a long time ago. You were screaming at every little turn and eventually you had caught up to the group in front of you.
One of them noticed you in your panic and asked, “Did you go through by yourself?”
“No. I lost my friends. I sort of ran ahead. A lot,” you explained.
Just then a clown popped out from behind a box and you screamed grabbing the arm of the closest person to you.
“I’m so sorry,” you told the girl letting go.
She took your hand and laughed softly, “Don’t be. I’m not a fan of these places either but I always found it easier if you had someone to be scared with. Mind being my partner since all my friends are all coupled up?”
You looked down to you intertwined fingers then back up to her soft smile and nodded, “That’d actually be nice.”
“I’m Mica by the way,” she introduced.
“Y/N,” you told her, starting to calm down.
Of course, the actors in the haunted house heard the exchange and started to call out your name, “Y/N come play with us.”
Mica looked at you wide eyed, “Let’s get out of here.”
“Please,” you gasped and pushed forward to the next room.
The rest of the house you spent clinging to Mica and the two of you screamed through the whole thing but it was a lot less scary with her at your side.
“We’re alive!” she cheered as the two of you found the exit and gave you a big hug.
You laughed and hugged her back, “Oh my god! Thank you so much for that.”
“Anytime,” she laughed, “In fact, my friends and I are going to the next haunted house if you want to come with.”
You looked over at her, not really wanting to say no to someone so cute especially when she was giving you that hopeful smile.
You sighed, “I can’t. I just can’t brave another one.” Her smile fell but you were quick to add, “I’d love to grab a bite with you sometime though.”
Her smile grew again, “Hold on.” She ran off to her friends and ran back a moment later, “I’m free right now.”
You shot a smile back and held out your hand, “Mind holding my hand on the way to the parking lot. It’s kind of dark and spooky.”
She took your hand and she told you, “I’ll hold your hand anytime.”
“What’s going on?” Mica gave you a confused look as you walked out into the middle of her Overwatch photo shoot. “And why are you dressed like Mercy?”
“Well, I didn’t want to crash your shoot but I figured every Pharah needs her Mercy,” you gestured to your girlfriend’s cosplay, “And don’t worry this will only take a minute.”
“I’m so confused,” she told you as you took one of her hands.
“Mica, like Pharah needs Mercy, I need you. Since I met you my life has been all the better. We support each other and love each other in ways I never could have imagined. While I may be the angel, you’re the one who lights up my life. Your love rains from above but also all around me. A moment never goes by that I don’t feel it. So will you do me the favor of giving me the play of the game and please marry me?” you dropped to one knee and gave her a hopeful look as you brought out the ring.
Mica was quiet for a moment before tackling you to the ground, “Yes! Yes! Of course!”
Commuting is an essential part of the day of a working folk. One needs a daily trip going to the workplace whether by taxi, by bus or by jeepneys. Sometimes, commuting can be fun but other times it can get into your nerves and makes you want to evaporate and be on your bed in a snap of your fingers.
If you are commuting daily, you might have experienced these funny and cringe-worthy ‘hail a taxi’ moments.
#1 You hail a taxi first but someone gets it instead.
You just got off from work and you’re already very tired. You finally get to hail a taxi but the folk before you gets it instead. Do you tell the folk or just let it go?
Don’t let it ruin your good day! There are a lot of taxi-hailing apps you can rely on. Try the very first reliable hail a taxi application, Micab App. With this app, you’ll never worry about someone catching your ride! If you don’t have this on your mobile phones yet, download now: On iOS and Android!
#2 You get a driver celeb (Oops! Just a ‘look-alike’).
You got into your cab and was feeling cozy in your seat, then you realize from the rear-view mirror that your driver is a celebrity. That’s so cool! But then you think of it more, how could this man have extra time for driving a taxi? To end all of this, you asked the driver if he’s the person you think he is, and find out he’s a look alike. LOL!
#3 Not only you have a driver but also a live narrator.
Wanting to have the most pleasant ride after an equally good day at work? Of course, you do! Would you still have a good one even if your driver tries to engage in a conversation which later turns out into a life narration? Some people find it annoying while others don’t mind at all. Some are entertained by the funny driver stories and even the dramatic ones.
If you are looking for the coolest taxi drivers in the city, an app called Micab does preliminary training for their driver partners, thus, they are knowledgeable of the proper customer service for the passengers.
#4 You were lost and the driver is clueless about the way to your destination.
This is one of the disadvantages of haling a taxi from the streets. Although taxi drivers are usually familiar with the directions, some of them tend to get lost in some areas of the city. Have you ever tried riding a cab and got lost on the way? How hassle would that be if you’re going to a meeting or having an examination…
Need not to worry as most of the on-demand ride booking apps already have a built-in navigational system that could prevent this from happening.

If you examine the company descriptions of our local startups, you’re very likely to encounter a curious phenomenon. Quite often, they will position themselves with descriptors like these: “first in the Philippines” or “proudly made in the Philippines” or “the only X in the Philippines.”
In other words, startups will boast about how they are created locally as an appeal to their…
I've been feeling really awful and stuff, but can you do a platonic Mica and Ryan where they find you having a breakdown over a death of a someone close?
A/N: I’m so sorry this took so long to get out. I was dealing with some loss myself. Hopefully things have been looking up since you sent this in.

Warnings: Talking about death
Today was your first day back in the Achievement Hunter office since the death of your Uncle. The two of you were always close so when he got sick you were intermittently in and out of the office. You had let everyone know what was going on. Still, when he passed you took a few days off for yourself and for the funeral.
“Good to see you back, kid,” Geoff pat your shoulder as he came in the room. He had been very supportive through the whole situation, everyone in the office had been.
“Heeey,” Mica greeted with cheer as she sat down beside you. “It’s so good to have you back. How are you feeling?”
You wanted to say you were fine with the way she was smiling at you but your heart was still weighted with sadness so you muttered a quick, “Better.”
Mica’s smile lessened but was still bright, “I’m glad you're back. We’ve missed you.”
“Thanks,” you shot her a small smile and slipped on your headphones wanting to just immerse yourself in your work.
A few hours later you jumped when you felt a hand on your shoulder. You looked up and caught Ryan mouthing an apology. You slipped your headphones off so you could actually hear him.
“Sorry for scaring you,” he repeated. “I just wanted to know if you wanted to join a few of us for lunch. Or if you want to take baby steps you and I can just grab a bite or eat here or I can leave you alone.”
You chuckled softly at Ryan’s rambling, “It’s okay. I’m going to hang back here for awhile and grab a bite on my own. Thank you for the offer. Another time.”
“Of course,” Ryan nodded before leaving you alone again as he went out to lunch.
About a half an hour later your stomach grumbled and you thought this was finally a good stopping place so you could actually eat.
You wandered the halls which were mostly empty. You usually enjoyed the busyness of Rooster Teeth but right now you were still hurting and were fine with not having to answer how you were doing over and over.
When you got to the fridge you opened it to poke around and see if there was anything you could eat. You didn’t want to take a lunch of someone else or eat week old leftovers but occasionally there was food for public domain and Mondays were shopping days.
As you were pushing aside expired milk and nearly empty Chinese takeout containers your heart dropped as you spied a familiar container. Your hands were shaky as you grabbed it. The food in it was nearly two weeks old and looked like it was starting to mold. That’s not what was important. It was from the last family dinner you had with your Uncle. He had stuffed as many leftovers as he could into a tupperware container he had scribbled his name onto.
The reminder was a simple one but it brought up happy memories and the overwhelming feeling of loss as you stared at it. Tears began to sting your eyes and you quickly shoved the container back in the fridge before running off to find a private spot to grieve.
You completely missed Mica coming into the break room just in time to see you run off. As her heels clicked on the floor, following you she ran into Ryan as he was coming back from lunch. He had asked her what was wrong and she explained she was going to check on. Ryan was quick to come with.
The two of them found the room you had hidden yourself in. You wouldn’t have even noticed them except the door clicked softly behind them.
“Guys, I’m okay. Just leave me be. I’ll be fine,” you were already arguing between a choked sob.
“No. You’re clearly not. That’s okay. You lost someone but we’re your friends. We don’t want you to be alone. We’re here to help you, to soften the blow,” Mica told you as she took a few steps closer.
“We’ll give you your privacy if that’s what you really want but we want to be there for you. To take care of you,” Ryan added.
You wanted to tell them to go away but at the same time, you just wanted to be in the middle of a big hug between the two of them. Rather than expressing these feelings, you let out another sob, falling to your knees as your legs felt like jello.
Mica and Ryan immediately dropped to your sides and pulled you into a warm hug.
“Shh. It’s okay. You’re going to be okay,” Mica cooed.
Ryan was quiet as he let you cry and Mica was whispering calming things until he finally said, “We’re here for you and we’re always going to be here for you.”
You didn’t say anything you just let it all out, letting them see you at your worst. You knew Ryan was right and you’d always have them and since the whole situation had begun with your Uncle you finally felt a little bit of hope.
Reader is a new intern at AH and is just *smitten* by Mica, and Geoff totally notices and is like "its okay kid, I think you should go for it" and just more basic fluff please?
You were trying your hardest while Trevor was explaining his normal duties as the camera operator but it was honestly tough to hear anything he was saying with Mica’s musical laughter chiming in every few minutes. Your eyes were even glued to her as she was battling Jeremy and Matt in Mario Cart. Trevor chuckled and your attention snapped back to him. Your smile dropped as his grew.
“I was doing it again wasn’t I?” you frowned. Trevor had caught onto your crush quite early on. He kept his lips sealed luckily.
“Just a little. You did not drool this time though,” he teased. You punched him in the shoulder and narrowed your eyes at him.
“Just go back over that last part,” you rolled your eyes and looked intently at the camera.
“How much did you hear?” Trevor asked trying to figure out where to pick back up.
You frowned again and sighed, “None of it.”
Trevor laughed even louder, catching the attention of the other three and you felt a blush come on as Mica looked over to see what the commotion was.
Once Trevor calmed down he started going back over the camera operation. That was until Geoff walked over, hovering beside the two of you.
“Yes, Geoff?” Trevor asked with a bright smile. It baffled you that one human could always be as happy as Trevor was.
“I would like to speak to Y/N,” he stated and turned around to walk out into the hall.
You looked at Trevor with wide eyes. He just shrugged and just after Geoff, “Follow him.”
You nodded and took a deep breath and followed after Geoff. You closed the door behind you as you met him in the hall. You tried to calm yourself, reminding yourself that if it was something important that Geoff would have brought you somewhere private like an office and not in the middle of the hallway even if it was empty.
“What’s up?” you asked, trying to sound casual.
“Don’t you ‘what’s up’ me,” Geoff raised an eyebrow at you, taking on his fatherly tone. “I know what’s been going on. Don’t think I don’t notice you just because you’re an intern.”
You racked your brain trying to think of what he was talking about and suddenly blurted, “It was so my responsibility and my own choice but Michael insisted I have a drink with him on the podcast or I wouldn’t be allowed to leave.”
Geoff chuckled, “You really think I’m going to talk to you about drinking at work?”
“Well, someone’s got to do it,” you shrugged.
“Kid, you are at one of the few places we encourage drinking at work,” he laughed and clapped your shoulder, “No. I’m talking about this Mica thing.”
“W-What?” you felt your heart starting to race and your eyes get big. If Geoff was guessing about your work crush before he was certain now.
“It’s okay. Go for it. I think she likes you too,” Geoff encouraged. “And if you need a little liquid courage then, by all means, I won’t report you to the boss.”
You stood there dumbfounded as Geoff walked back into the Achievement Hunter office.
You caught your breath for a moment then turned, walking smack into someone.
“Mica!” your eyes went wide as caught her balance.
“Y/N! It’s okay. I promise,” she laughed.
“I should have looked where I was going,” you shook your head.
“You also should take Geoff’s advice,” she gave a little smirk. “Walls are thin. Achievement Hunter is nosy,” she explained before kissing your cheek and leaving down the hall.
your enemy’s name on one wrist and your soulmate the another. could you do it with Mica and Ryan in royalty au? Thank you

You’re lips pressed to Mica’s, fingers combing through her hair until there was a knock at the door. The two of you jumped back, a fit of giggles.
“Come in,” you called, tugging at your sleeve to make sure your wrist was covered. Luckily, it was your father so you stopped fidgeting with the material.
“You know one of these days the kingdom is going to catch onto the two of you,” he said knowingly but with a smile.
“As long as I marry a man they don’t care what happens behind closed doors. In fact, it gives them something to gossip about,” you rolled your eyes and stood.
Mica politely excused herself from the room.
“Do you know why we cover our wrists from the public?” your father asked.
You sighed. It was a common question that you answered often, “Because not only do we want to keep our feelings from the public so we can be wed to whoever is best for the kingdom but also so our enemies cannot be sought out and be used against us.”
“Precisely,” he nodded and faded you, “I know I tell you of this often but I care about you and your safety. You are going to make a great queen someday. I just want to prepare you for when you do have to marry and if you do come face to face with your enemy.”
“I know,” you dropped your head.
Your father raised your chin with his finger so you could look him in the eye, “I’m also pleased you have found your soulmate so easily and will have her by your side for eternity. Your safety is my concern but your happiness is my priority.”
You gave him a sad smile. It hurt knowing you and Mica couldn’t be together, not the way he and your mother were. They had been one of the lucky ones. Promised to each other and soulmates.
“Now,” he dropped his hand, “I will send in your handmaidens so you can get ready for the ball tonight. I’m trying to give away your hand so please wait for at least all the guests to be arrived and greeted before you sneak off with Mica.”
Your smile brightened a bit, “I will try my best.”
“That’s my girl,” he smiled back before leaving your room.
You took your moment of peace to catch your breath. You walked over to you vanity, grabbing the two leather bracelets laying in front of you and slipping one over Mica’s name and one of the names Ryan before your handmaidens arrived.
The big parties were never your sort of your idea of a good time but as the princess, you knew you had to make your appearance. There were just so many people and fake pleasantries but there was wine.
You were sipping on a glass when a tall gentleman stopped beside you with a glass of his own. He watched over the people with you not saying anything for awhile. It was oddly comfortable.
You noticed he wasn’t drinking, his goblet was more of a prop for him to hold so you spoke up about it, “Not one for wine?”
He smiled but didn’t pull his eyes away from the dance floor, “Not much of a drinker. Got to keep appearances though. What sort of a lord doesn’t drink at a royal party?”
“A lord?” you hummed.
“Lord Haywood,” he bowed towards you, finally looking to you.
Your breath caught for a moment as you took in how handsome he was.
“Princess Y/N,” you curtsied.
“Oh, I know. But I’m pretty sure everyone knows. This ball is for you and your hand in marriage,” he pointed out.
“I don’t normally do this but do you want to dance?” you asked. You were drawn to Lord Haywood and you couldn’t help but wonder why. You didn’t even like dancing but you wanted to be close to him for a little longer.
“I don’t normally either but for someone so beautiful plus who can deny the princess,” he teased, taking your glasses and setting them aside before he extended his gloved hand to you.
You took his hand and he led you to the middle of the floor. He spun you causing a giggle from you.
“Have to show off that wonderful gown,” he told you with a smirk before you took both hands and began dancing with as much grace as you could muster. He didn’t seem to mind as you tripped here and there. In fact, he paused each time to make sure you were okay before continuing.
You were so offbeat by the third song that you were a fit of giggles, Lord Haywood was right there laughing along. You led him off the floor so you’d stop getting so many looks from the other party goers.
As the two of you caught your breath outside, walking through the royal gardens you asked, “So what brings you here tonight?”
“I have a feeling my soulmate is here tonight and I wanted to finally meet her. I figured it was time,” he answered honestly.
“What makes you think she’s here?” you questioned.
“A hunch,” he gave a knowing smile.
You raised an eyebrow at him, “And how do you know she is not your enemy?”
“Because of this,” he pointed to a scar that curved right along the left side of his face. It was faint but you could see it clearly now that it was pointed out to you. “Right before my eighteenth birthday, I was attacked by one of the guards who was a follower of the dark king. My name was imprinted onto his wrist and his onto mine. He was meant to kill me and although I was caught off guard I was still swift with a sword and managed to best him first.”
“And what of him now?” you asked softly.
“Sadly he is no longer alive. I let him go after the first attack. Told him not to come back or he’d be met with death. He did not listen,” Lord Haywood explained.
“Well, I’m glad you survived,” you told him.
“I as well,” he nodded, “How about you? What of your darkest enemy?”
“Haven’t met him yet. I’m well prepared. I can handle myself,” you reassured.
He chuckled, “I have no doubt about that.”
“Now, what about this lucky maiden? Have you run into her tonight?” you inquired.
He nodded softly, “I have indeed.”
“Well, how did it go?” you asked excitedly.
“So far so good. She’s everything I could ask for and then some,” he replied with a smile.
“Then what are you doing talking to me. Go! Go to her!” you urged. He laughed loudly. “What? Did I say something funny?”
“I am talking to her,” he explained with a sweet smile.
You looked around, seeing no one else. “Who? Me?”
“Yes. You,” he nodded.
“No. No. I have met my soulmate,” you shook your head.
“You have?” he questioned, confusion written on his face. He removed his glove and showed you his wrist. You gasped as your name was clearly written there.
“I’m sure there is another Y/N,” you blurted.
“My apologies. It was foolish of me to think I was worthy of the princess,” he bowed his head.
“Oh, no. I understand. And honestly whoever this other Y/N is she is so lucky,” you reassured.
“May I just inquire if my name is on your wrist?” he asked.
You gasped and pulled your arms against yourself to protect the names written on you.
“No. No,” waved his hands and took a step back. “I would never ask you to reveal such personal information. Could you just let me know if James is written on one of your wrists?”
You relaxed, seeing his intentions were wholesome, “No James.”
“Oh,” he bowed his head again, “Thank you for your time Princess.” He turned to leave but paused mid step and turned back, “You know my name is James but I have never gone by it. Perchance, is the name on your wrist Ryan?”
“W-What?” your heart began beating against your chest, you were sure he could hear it.
“I had a friend and his nickname was on his soulmate’s wrist and I go by Ryan,” he explained.
You slowly removed your bracelet, showing off the name Ryan neatly printed there.
“I knew it!” he cheered.
“B-But Mica is my soulmate. I’ve known her since birth. She’s my meant to be,” you stammered.
“But does she make you feel like this?” he stepped towards you again and pressed a kiss to your lips. You gasped in surprise and wanted to fight him off but there was an electric energy there that you had never felt with Mica. You melted into his touch.
“I don’t understand,” you gasped, finally pulling away.
“We are meant to be,” he explained.
“But that would mean-” you didn’t want to finish your sentence. You didn’t even want to think about it. Little did you know Mica had spied on your kiss from behind a pillar. She felt an anger boil in her like never before and she was much more willing to admit that she knew what your name on her wrist suddenly meant to her.
