Artist Micaela Lattanzio’s latest sculpture works, entitled “La Natura Inquieta.”
The work focuses on the dynamic force of matter in motion that animates our world, made up of uncoded languages and invisible strands connecting us to each other, in a cyclical system that takes us back to the natural world.
“The body is the abode of being and the space of our feeling, but the perimeters of our skin can become the border that separates us from the world. The body, in fact, is a plural entity since the elements of which it is made up are given by the chemical reaction of the same matter that surrounds us, and this reaction generates an intrinsic and indissoluble bond with nature. To perceive this flow and access it deeply, benefiting from the well-being it would bring to our lives, it is necessary to renew ourselves and look at reality in an unprecedented way, abandoning the words, the pre-set codes, the part of rational thought that qualifies us as One, to re-establish and recover contact with our inner multitude.” - Micaela Lattanzio.
