“You hunters are all the same. Itchy trigger fingers, the lot of you.” He stood up, brushing the dust off his jacket. Alright, so it was his own damn fault for startling them, but that didn’t stop Micah from being annoyed at the inconvenience of being knocked onto his ass, “But please, go ahead shoot me, if you are so inclined.” { @gcddamnprcblem }
“Have no fear, brother. The war is nearly won,” Micah placed a hand on the other’s shoulder, “We will soon have this world under complete control. Don’t look so glum about it.” { @ofmusicandprayers || APOCALYPSE WORLD }
@justremiel ♥’d for a short starter from Micah
His angel blade slipped down from the sleeve of his coat. Grasping it tightly, his eyes surveyed his surroundings. Something wasn’t right. Nowadays an angel couldn’t be too careful. His eyes narrowed, staring at the shadows, almost expecting something to jump out at him. With a calm sureness in his voice, he commanded, “Whoever is there, show yourself.”
“I have kept watch all night. There is no movement on the perimeter of the human encampment,” There hadn’t even been a hint of a scouting party or watch patrol. It seemed odd. But perhaps they felt a false sense of security behind their wards and sigils. { @virdityshattred || APOCALYPSE WORLD }
@trickyxarchangel ♥’d for a starter
Patience was a virtue, but not one gifted to Micah. Order and reason was his comfort zone. But they were both thrown out the window when it came to the archangel, “I would tell you that this is an inopportune time, but I fear that would just egg you on more.”
Micah had seen all the beauty of creation, all the splendor of the universe, but there was something quaint and somewhat calming about human museums. Surrounded by the antiques and fragile artwork of the past, he tried to absorb it all. There was one thing Micah envied of humanity: their creativity. He could never work with his hands the way they did, “Fascinating, is it not?” (@virdityshattred )
“You may wish to rethink your approach. As they say, you capture more flies with honey than with vinegar” { @pormiculpa }
