Micca will never let Finn 'grow up' and let him live his own life. (I know they come as a pair but still)

I wouldn’t say never, but Micca will act as Finn’s guardian protector for as long as Finn needs/wants him to (and maybe just a tiny bit longer). The loud, overprotective, ill mannered brother type, Micca has made it his primary duty to watch out for Finn- specifically against scumbag perverts or people who might want to take advantage of Finn’s kind heart or hurt him in any way. Micca has done so ever since they were kids, and in most ways his meddling has been helpful by encouraging the shy Finn out of his shell, but now that they’re grown up his constant presence in Finn’s life can occasionally be a hindrance more so than a help. In Finn’s love life most notably, Micca has it in his head that no potential suitor could ever be good enough for Finn, and with that in mind Micca takes it upon himself to chase them off. It is meant for Finn’s benefit, but Micca doesn’t often consider that maybe Finn wants to be courted and maybe he actually likes some of the people who try to befriend or hit on him. Finn is coming into his confidence more and more and eventually yes, he will get up the nerve to tell Micca that he doesn’t need to be protected (at least to the degree that Micca does), and Micca won’t quite know what to do with himself for a while if he isn’t looking after Finn given that he’s done it for so long. It will be difficult for Micca to let go of his self imposed bodyguard duties, but at the end of the day Micca wants what’s best for Finn and will respect his wishes, even if that means letting Finn pursue relationships/activities/etc. that Micca may not approve of.
