Farm animals also suffer tremendously as rats bite them and contaminate their food, paving way for the disease-causing germs to enter their bloodstream.
Off-farm
Such damages revolve around properties, infrastructures, utilities and facilities. These are the damages brought by rat infestation to electronics, electrical appliances, household goods, office supplies, industrial goods, service-based industrial sectors like restaurants etc.
The expenses necessary to eradicate the rodents and clean up the mess also amount to off-farm damages.
