R.I.P. actor Michael Asnara he was 91. In Hollywood Asnara found work playing a variety of Native Americans in film and television. He was of Syrian decent. Asnara also found work in the original run of Star Trek appearing as Klingon diplomat Kang in three episodes.
To me Michael Asnara well best be rembered as Victor Fries aka Mr. Freeze from the Batman: The Animated Series in the early 90's. Asnara would make a total of 5 apperances as Freeze in the show: 3 episodes, 1 direct to video film, and an apperance in Batman Beyond. Asnara's harch near robitic tone perfectly captured the tortured Mr. Freeze as he tries so hard to not be human.
