Abahachi and Ranger fall into a trap set by a gang but are saved by Dimitri the Greek and his new employee, Mary. This rescue, however, reveals a larger plot, leading our heroes into a brand new adventure.
The sheer amount of jokes in this parody from Germany of Western and adventure films (think Zucker, Abrahams, Zucker) means there's something for everyone, with hits and misses.
And as it's custom for very late sequels there's a lot of nostalgia involved. But I didn't mind thinking back to the very memorable entry of Santa Maria in the first film. Plus lots of movie references - for example of Jim Knopf and Louis de Funes - are also fun.
I have to admit, I smiled a lot. I'm satisfied with the overall situation. Though I wonder if viewers outside German speaking territories will enjoy the movie.
