Upsetting DARK fact of the week #2
I’ll just be going about my day and then I’ll suddenly think of Mikkel. Poor Mikkel, who was one of the only completely innocent and pure characters. Poor Mikkel who loved his family and gave his life to preserve it. Poor Mikkel who loved his son enough to sacrifice himself, even though said son was the cause of all his suffering. Poor Mikkel who went through hell only to be erased from existence. Poor Mikkel who was always doomed to die. I think of Mikkel and I just
I was so afraid, but you held my hand, and then you said “We have to stay here, all night, but when the morning comes, everything will be alright”, and when I woke up, you were gone. All those years I've tried to understand, why you did that. But then, at some point it all just faded away. It became even more unreal, like a dream.
