Previously featured NYC by way of the Bay artist Michael Persall now goes by the simple moniker of MICKY, but there’s nothing simple about the soulful rock and electrifying pop that he douses our ears with on his latest single, Fire. A dose of swaggering Motown imbues this sooty sweltering, confident swinging tune, a vibrant eruption of chunky searing guitars and slick strutting vocals.
