• When Michael said "Love didn't work out for my mom and dad, so why should it work out for me?", he didn’t mean they're divorced but they are in a loveless marriage which he knows about. They argue a lot and he hears it all through his bedroom since its not very soundproof.
• Actually does like dancing and is pretty good at it which is why he said yes to joining Stans dance troupe but he's embarrassed by it. To this day, none of his friends have seen him dance outside of traditional goth style.
• Had a crush on Stan (but only while he was Raven).
• Really hates his nose but eventually made his peace with it because he figured it'd be "conformist" to get a rhinoplasty.
• Michael was born without his left leg so he walked with a cane and prosthetic leg his whole life. Eventually he got a better prosthetic so he could walk straight without the cane but he still kept it just for aesthetic.
• Listens to Echo and the Bunnymen, Lebanon Hangover, Voodoo Church and The Damned.
• Michael loves art, especially sculpting and architecture. He takes pottery classes on the weekends and makes lots of vases, sculptures, dishes (that he ends up washing) that he usually gives to his mom or Henrietta for their birthday.
• Hugee history fan, specifically convoluted, bottomless pit histories. He spends a lot of his time researching stuff about Mesopotamia, the Indus Valley Civilization, the Steppe Nomads. He finds it comforting how deep the lore goes that he can basically research these things all his life and still never be finished.
• His anger issues as a child didn't stem from his penis size, he was angry because his parents were constantly fighting and criticizing him for being goth. He was getting into arguments with his mom everyday because she was calling him demonic.
• Michael and Henrietta have been best friends since preschool actually. They both decided to turn goth at around 6 because they hated how their peers treated them (remember the goths canonically got bullied before they were goth) and as a result decided to lean fully into being "non-conformists". They had no idea what that meant until they got older, all they knew was it was the opposite of the mean kids who would pick on them.
• Spends like an hour on their hair in the morning.
• Is Half Chinese on their moms side and Greek on their dads side.
• Michael is usually the more logical one of the goths, they try to keep everyone else from doing crazy shit because they know that they all have really bad anger issues and all usually influence each other to unleash that. They doesn’t particularly care about any of their actions affecting other people, they just don’t want to have their friends in prison.
• Cries every single time at Edward Scissorhands
• Watches a lot of British dark humor shows like Inside No. 9, Psychoville, Misfits.
• Their trench coat belonged to their father. It smells like mothballs and cheap cologne, but they find it comforting so they almost never really wash it.
• Michaels room is filled with real animal skulls (mostly deer and gophers), candles that have almost been completely melted so the wax is all over their dresser, and broken porcelain dolls. Their mom really hates going in their room, most of the time she just yells at him to get rid of his "demonic possessions" and that they're making the house look creepy (even though none of that shit ever leaves their room but whatever).
• Takes long and really hot showers, his parents get on him for using that much hot water but he doesn’t care. Most of the time he turns the temperature up so he steps out with burns on his skin.
• Fucking hates when people call him Mike instead of Michael because he thinks if it catches on everyone is gonna start confusing him with Mike Makowski
• Punched a mirror once and it shattered but he glued back most of the missing glass so he still has it though it's so cracked he can barely see himself in it.
• Drinks lavender chamomile tea all the time to calm his nerves. He owns a cast-iron teapot shaped like a skull.
• Michael is a lot more pissed off than people realize. It's not apparent because he's so chill about everything but if you make him too mad or hurt his friends, he will get very close to hospitalizing you, if he doesn’t nearly kill you. He tells the others not to resort to violence so quickly a lot but he does not practice what he preaches. He's so nonchalant when he fights people though, it's almost creepy. He'll deck someone and then be lighting a cigarette before they hit the floor.
• He used to pull out his own baby teeth and kept them in his drawer until one day he got an idea and took them to Henrietta to ask her to make a necklace out of them. Now he's saving the necklace for his next romantic partner (he means soulmate but he cringes saying that).
• Michael's father is an anthropologist and gave him his old books which he re-binds into handmade leather covers using antique stitching methods.
• Does not use social media, all he has is Facebook and that’s solely because his mother made him set it up so he could keep in touch with his family.
