ℯscape ➣ Michael & Lucifer
He had to find it. Where was it coming from? The slipping sounds and teases of refreshing wind - the spiritual breeze in the stagnant and crushing air of the Cage, a twinkle of light in the chasm of darkness. Lucifer had not felt anything like that since the doors to his Cage had been free. And now...
The archangel darted about with ashen wings within the remnants of his barred world; he didn't know where any entrance or exit to the Cage was apart from the one that had opened itself up when the seals were broken. That one was obvious. This elusive cracked backdoor had to be somewhere...
... But then, so was his older brother. Lucifer scowled faintly as he folded his wings back and halted where he was, realizing Michael was closer by than he previously was. Lucifer had wandered into the vicinity of his presence, and now it was simply too late to turn tail and fly elsewhere. Angered and anxious silence clambered up his throat and held his voice tight for a moment, but finally, his tongue broke free for a sliver of a moment.
"Oh. Funny bumping into you here. Small world," the archangel twisted his words with sarcasm, fairly eager to resume his quest and leave his brother be.
