AGDA Victoria is very excited to present the first in its Conversations with Designers film series, a new initiative designed to heighten the profile of Australian graphic designers internationally, act as an educational tool and position us as specialised strategic thinkers to the business community.
Conversations with Designers is a series of 5–10 minute films featuring Australian designers and made freely available on the AGDA site, YouTube and Vimeo.
Although there’s a lot of footage of international designers to be found on the internet, Australians are conspicuous in their absence.
We aim to rectify this shortfall and give Australian designers a better presence both nationally and internationally.
The films will feature respected Australian designers of diverse styles and backgrounds working in areas of print and digital multimedia.
Our first “conversation” is with Michaela Webb from award winning Studio Round.
