when I started shipping it if I did: when i watched the first captain america movie which was about a month ago — more specifically when bucky yelled “no, not without you”

my thoughts: i don’t really know what i’m supposed to say here but i have SO MANY THOUGHTS. they are similar and different at the same time; also maybe bucky was a bit jealous at first after steve turned up all super-soldier-y but quickly noticed how much he loved him and how much he thought steve deserved it; i love the “that little guy from brooklyn who was too dumb not to run away from a fight, i’m following him” line, because that probably captures perfectly how much bucky doesn’t care about steve’s new body (except maybe he does because now steve won’t get hurt as easily as before, and bucky’s grateful for that) because he’s always known that the most important thing about steve is his mind, not his body; i love how bucky lost all memories of his old life but somehow still remembered steve’s face; i love how steve was afraid when he fought the winter soldier, but did it anyway, without remorse, because he was ready to do anything to help bucky [sobs]

What makes me happy about them: they will follow each other anywhere anytime and they love each other so much

What makes me sad about them: /everything/

things done in fanfic that annoys me: homophobic!steve, blushing virgin!steve, bucky getting it on with other boys before steve

things I look for in fanfic: just things that show how much they love each other and bucky recovering with steve and also filthy gay sex

Who I’d be comfortable them ending up with, if not each other: nobody really!

My happily ever after for them: BUCKY GETTING HIS MEMORIES BACK AND THEM HELPING EACH OTHER RECOVER AND LIVING IN A TINY APARTMENT IN BROOKLYN [sobs some more]

who is the big spoon/little spoon: steve rogers will always be the little spoon

what is their favorite non-sexual activity: i like to think that steve rarely has anything better to do than to draw bucky. also cuddling.
