Arkn mythos
So here I am taking my first steps into The Arkn Mythos.... Starting with Michaels Camera please for the love of god don't Send me into a pit like EMH did two years ago I'm not ready for that level of nightmare XD
I’m Bored
“Carver.” Michaelis yelled wandering around the Infernous. For years now he had been breaking into the Infernous when he was bored to bother Carver. Carver pretended to be annoyed but Michaelis knew that he secretly liked it. “I know you can hear me Carver, I’m in your domain come be a good host!”
“You can’t keep breaking in here when you’re bored!” Carver accused from behind Michaelis. Michaelis tuned and grinned at Carver who tried not to smile back but didn’t quite manage it.
“Might makes right. I am capable of breaking in so of course I can.” Michaelis retorted, sidling up to Carver and draping his arms over Carver’s shoulder. “Don’t pretend you aren’t happy to see me.”
“Okay yes I am.” Carver sighed putting his hands on Michaelis’ waist. “But still I have a job.”
“We’re all just assigned jobs.” Michaelis said rolling his eyes. “And what’s really the consequences if we don’t to them? The Infernous looks after itself when you’re away. Let it look after itself now.”
“Oh? Do you have a plan?” Carver asked smirking down at Michaelis who smirked right back.
“Well we have a couple of options.” He said slipping a little closer to Carver so their chests were almost touching. “But I though I might sneak us into the Golden city and we could pull a few pranks.” Michaelis saw Carver hesitated. “Oh come on I do it all the time are you loosing your nerve?”
“No!” Carver snapped. Michaelis smirked and dodged out of Carvers reach, Carver was like a child sometimes and Michaelis knew exactly how to get his way.
“Is the Dekn lord of pain and torment afraid of some prissy Arkn city kids.” He teased skipping away when Carver made a grab at him. “Come on we won’t get caught. It’ll be fun. Don’t worry I’ll look after you.” Michaelis taunted and Carver snarled chasing him.
“I don’t need looking after!” carver yelled.
“Prove it.” Michaelis said, cornering himself on purpose, spinning to face Carver and leaning against the wall. Carver slammed his hands on the wall o either side of Michaelis’s head and leered down at him while Michaelis smiled back.
“Prove it?” Carver asked dangerously.
“Yes.” Michaelis quipped. “Prove it, come to the golden city with me.”
“Fine.” Carver snapped pushing away from the wall. “I’ll play your game.”
“Good, it’s a fun game.” Michaelis promised linking his arm through Carvers so that he could take them both to the Golden City.
---
“Okay you’re right that was fun.” Carver said breathlessly. They had just teleported back to the Infernous, forced to flee from a group of angry, lesser Arkn they had pranked. None of those Arkn were powerful enough to follow them to the Infernous and nothing they had done had warranted the involvement of higher Arkn so they should getting off scot-free.
“I told you it would be.” Michaelis smirked grabbing Carvers hand. “When will you remember that I, unlike most Arkn, know how to have a good time?”
“Probably never.” Carver joked and Michaelis laughed then there was a moment of silence. “I should get back to work.” Carver said and started to walk away but Michaelis didn’t let go of his hand and pulled him back.
“Oh no you don’t. I was thinking I might spend the night tonight.” Michaelis suggested softly pressing against Michaelis. “What do you think?”
“Oh, alright.” Carver said smirking. “In that case work can wait.”
“That’s what I thought.” Michaelis purred breathily and kissed Carver.

“I hear you’re pretty powerful.” Carver said circling around the man who looed so much like the Knight Carver had had for eternities but was so different.
“Have you?” Michaelis said blandly, watching Carver out of the corner of his eye. “Well if my reputation precedes me it must be true.” Michaelis was still getting used to powers but the more he stretched them the more he found himself able to do. He had yet to find his limit though he expected it would happen soon.
“I don’t trust rumor.” Carver stated coming to a halt in front of Michaelis.
“Oh? You’d like to test it?” Michaelis asked emotionlessly.
“Yes I think I would.” Carver said grinning savagely.
“Come on then let’s get this over with.” Michaelis said raising his arms out to his side inviting Carver to attack.
“Well don’t mind if I do.” Carver laughed and then attacked.
A undetermined time later Michaelis stood over a bruised and bleeding Carver staring down at him. Michaelis wiped Some blood away from a cut on his forehead the knelt down next to Carver.
“Are you done?” Michealis asked calmly. Carver snarled at him but didn’t say anything, Michaelis could see the fear in his eyes. Like all bullies when Carver was confronted by someone stronger then him he turned out to be a coward. Michael sighed and drew his revolver pressing the tip to Carvers forehead.
“Don’t.” Carver yelped, Michaelis paused. “I don’t want to die.” Carver said softly.
“You started this.” Michaelis pointed out apathetically. Carver swallowed hard.
“I’m sorry.” Carver choked out. Michaelis chuckled, had Carver ever said that before.
“You won’t do it again?” Michaelis asked cocking one eyebrow.
“No.” Carver promised.
“Alright then.” Michaelis said holstering his gun. “You’re bleeding a lot, even if I don’t kill you you’ll die if I leave you.” He pointed out sitting back to look over Carver. “Raph might help you if I ask him to and say I’ll owe him a favour.” Michaelis decided. “I’ll get us there.” He helped Carver to his feet and let Carver lean heavily against him when one of his legs gave out.
Raphael took some convincing to help but he agreed eventually. Carver mostly stayed silent which was good. From what Michaelis had heard Carver was usually insulting when he opened his mouth.
As soon as Carver was healed enough that he wouldn’t die though Raphael wanted him gone so Michaelis took him away. He wouldn’t take Carver back to the Infernous where he would be powerful, instead Michaelis brought them back to his own pocket dimension he had carved out as his home. Carver may be healed enough to not be on the brink of death but he was still week so he would still die if left to his own devices in all probability. This world was a world of vultures and they wouldn’t hesitate to devour the mighty when they were brought low.
“Why are you doing this?” Carver asked, speaking for the first time in, maybe more then a day.
“I’m helping.” Michaelis sighed, making Carver comfortable in a spare room he only had because it resembled the home he had grown up in. “The usual reaction is thank you.”
“Why are you helping me? I would have killed you.” Carver asked stubbornly. Michaelis sighed in irritation.
“I’m the Arkn of redemption.” He pointed out impatiently. “And salvation, it’s in my nature to save people who are still redeemable.”
“I’m irredeemable.” Carver objected.
“No you aren’t.” Michaelis stated. “Not yet, I would know if you were.”
“So you’re going to salvage me?” Carver scoffed.
“No I’m not. I’m just giving you the opportunity to salvage yourself.”
“And why would I do that?” Carver asked sarcastically and laughed. “For you?”
“If that would motivate you.” Michaelis said meeting Carvers eyes levelly. Carver blinked in surprise and then looked away. “But everyone has their own reasons, we all need to find our own purpose.” Michaelis said looking away.
Carver started to scoff but he stopped. He had heard things like this from Arkn before who were trying to convert him but it seemed different from Michaelis somehow. More sinker from him, fresh somehow.
“If I tried would you help me?” Carver asked meeting Michaelis’s eyes again. A smile played around the corners of Michaelis’s lips drawing Carvers attention to them.
“It’s in my nature to try to save people.” Michaelis repeated.
“It’s not in my nature to be good.” Carver pointed out softly.
“Well you like a challenge don’t you.” Michaelis joked, truly smiling now. “That’s why you attacked me right?”
“Ya.” Carver laughed then winced as it hurt one of his still healing broken ribs. “I like a challenge.” They would see how long this challenge lasted. “We’ll see how long I last.”
“Together.” Michaelis offered offering his hand to Carver.
“Why not.” Carver agreed clasping Michaelis’ hand. He waited for Michaelis would let go first, just to try and make him uncomfortable but Michaelis didn’t let go. “It might make a nice change.” Carver decided distractedly, staring at their hand curiously.
“Are you usually alone?” Michaelis asked. They’re still clasped hands forgotten as they started the proses of actually getting to know each other beyond second hand accounts and rumors.
