My first visit to Palm Springs Art Museum Architecture and Design Center yesterday and met with the Center’s Archivist, Frank Lopez. The Center is currently working on getting the archive accessible to the public. I am sure they will need volunteers to help with the enormous work required to digitize it. The Center also offers the Modern Tour curated by Michael Stern, the author of Julius Shulman: Palm Springs, Rizzoli 2008 and the director of Julius Shulman: Desert Modern, the documentary aired on PBS.
