Today’s #throwbackthursday is very special as I want to pay homage to Drumming legend #MichealShapiro who passed away recently. I was blessed to know him & work with him many years ago with equal legends #rickylawson & @billcantos_music Micheal was an amazing Funk, Brazilian & African drummer who was, so humble he fell right into playing hand percussion to support Ricky on this gig at the legendary #atmyplace in @cityofsantamonica I was so honored as a “new” LA musician in 1991 to be among these luminaries.
