Yes it’s been a while since I’ve done editings and digital paintings. To be honest, I’m in a really deep runt of an artist’s block these past couple of months. I’ve done a few edits but it’s been left incomplete or not posted because I just don’t have the motivation or the inspiration that I used to have. This also goes with my paintings traditionally as well. I just really lack the motivation and inspiration. I took a week off to leave my home and did some healing which I progress of completing one traditional painting, 10+ edits (included these 8), a few drawings, and reading my book. 

It’s a start, I can say that. I’m starting fresh.

I actually drew this in my sketchbook and before I went to physically colour it, I scanned it and saved it on my laptop which became a reference to the drawing above. It’s been a long time since I’ve actually drawn on a tablet and not on my mouse pad + pen which was what I did with my wallpaper edits. This was so much fun to do and now that I finished one sketchbook filled with my doodles, I think I’m gonna use my next one purely for scanned drawings like these ~ and possibly gif some ^^

I’m currently working on a collage project for my studio painting class where I have to create 3 pieces: analog, photoshop, and a bit of both. After the mini critique, I will take all three pieces and try to paint it out on a 2 x 3 feet wood panel that I’ve already built previously. This one above is the both analog and photoshop (which isn’t as HD as I hoped) but I also made it into a gif just for fun :). By Monday, I would probably print a copy for myself to see how it looks on paper ^^~ I should be able to post my complete painting by March??

I write a post saying that my editing will be on hold for further notice and yet here I am, doing more edits as we speak. It seems like I got a lot of free time eh? I surprisingly do. Valentine’s Day is coming up and it’s one of my favourite lil celebrations of this season esp with the roses I received back in highschool but now 2nd year of uni had lead me to be excited for The Walking Dead season premiere woohoo. Valentine’s day won’t be so mushy when you spend it alone. Share that mush with anyone or that special someone you’ve been crushing on (yes mich, share that mush.)

With this edit, I wanted to try a different style of how I usually do my edits. Much more simplistic compared to the previous ones but of course I’m still learning as I go ^^~
